Went for an evening constitutional around Folkestone Harbour with my pocket rocket Sony camera as I fancied a night time photo mission while the weather was mild, dry and calm. But think I'll have someone with me next time or wait until it gets darker earlier.

Wuthering Heights
A break in the unsettled weather enabled me to fire up my drone and captured Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights dance at Folkestone Harbour this afternoon.

Folkestone Charivari
Braved the crowds with my trusty Nikon D7000 and took some photos of the annual Folkestone Charivari this afternoon. The light had varied quite a bit as it kept changing from partial cloud to strong sunshine and back to clouds in seconds.

Buck Moon
This was a spur of the moment photo shoot as I quickly ran outside with my trusty Nikon D7000, bit risky given it was a Friday night at Folkestone Harbour but think I'm glad I did it. I couldn't get the detail on the moon nor the position I wanted but I decided I liked the reflection and colour overall.

Twin Halos
Earlier on today, I spotted an twin-sun halo set directly overhead here at Folkestone. Usually the sun is in the middle of the halo but I think sunlight shining through an unusual arrangement of a particular kind of ice crystals that that makes up cirrus enable the main halo to be one side and only white while there is a fainter "traditional" halo around the sun, kind of made it look like a giant wedding ring. I've actually not seen the likes of that before.
