An impressive firework display took place at Folkestone harbour this evening, but due to the declining weather conditions with increasing wind and threat of rain, I hadn't set up the big camera nor my drone and instead just used my smartphone from neighbours garden.
I took this on my iSamsony smartbone a couple of weeks ago, it's only just now I remembered to give it a tweak and show.
This evening, I noticed what was looking like a half decent sunset forming, so in order to get a better view of it over Folkestone I did a simple straight-up-and-back-down-again flight directly over my house with the ol' drone.
My sis and I noticed the stark-looking sea colours over Folkestone harbour from my neighbours garden this afternoon. Shadow from heavy showers over the Channel and bright skies overhead are what caused that strong contrast/shade effect.
