Fire Walk

A fire walk session was held just around the corner from my house earlier on this evening. 

Rippled Clouds

A good looking rippled cloud formation, or "Mackerel" cloud as it resembles the scales on a fish. This is the result of a bank of cirrocumulus getting caught up in a wind shear as strong upper wind overtakes lower moving surface wind. Usually denotes unsettled weather in a short while.

In The Matrix

Just me, the camera and a cheap lazer light thingy. All done in one take with no photoshopping involved.

Family Matters

The result of an experimental portrait shoot, it took place in my sister's conservatory where the light was better for it (the guy is my nephew, Jack).
  While I took the photos with my Nikon D7000, my sister did the processing stuff.

Winter's Last Fling?

A sudden burst of proper wintry weather with heavy snow and strong wind had enabled me to take this photo of my front garden.
   We do get at least one decent snowfall every winter but this was unusual in that it occurred so late in the season as we are in March!

The whole photo was all done in one take using a 15 seconds long exposure. I used a black sheet in a dark room and no photoshop-type layering were involved in the making of this photo.

Did some more light orbs and firewooling this evening. However, it wasn't very long before rain had stopped play so this was the result of a very brief session.

I treated myself to a soft light box, but as I was testing it out, Chad walked into it and decided to make it as his official sun lounge. That's where the photo opportunity presented itself.
