TV Times

Since I've not had my living room telly for that long, I've decided to bite the bullet and finally opened up my very own streaming TV account. I think it is time to move with the times as Freeview has become a bit stale.

Aurora

Finally got to see the Northern Lights right here at Folkestone this evening! I didn't think I'd take anything this spectacular with a smartphone camera, which made it worth the walk around a freezing cold Folkestone Harbour. Seemed the hyped up aurora forecasts turned out to be true and as a result that's one wish ticked off where I won't need to travel to Finland or Iceland after all.

Full Steam Ahead

A Black Five stormed through Folkestone on a fair Saturday morning. Thought I'd go for an "iconic" look but unfortunately right at the last minute I had to switch over to my iSamsony smartbone after the batter on my proper camera died (my fault for not checking the charge after lack of use).

A workmate's girlfriend asked me if I could draw a picture of his (now deceased) parent's old house. This is a change in style for me where it started off as pencil lines and then hand-coloured in digitally using a drawing pad on my PC.
