Model Shoot
No, not glamour model (now there's a challenge), but the effect of making real life look more like a scale model.
The first image makes good use of the "Tilt and Shift" effect, the art of warping the depth of field effect to such an extent it "fools" the eye in thinking you're looking at a scale model instead of the real thing.
The second image might as well have been a still out of Half Life 2, but it's the stairway at Sainsbury's car park.

The Light At The End Of The Tunnel
A HDR of a tunnel just off Cheriton, Folkestone.
This is what I do,I used a small tripod to keep the camera steady (this is an HDR involving five identical shots but each had different exposure settings and were all merged together as one HDR image).
I've become quite quick off the mark when it comes to taking photographs like this, I eye up the location, program the camera, set it down to where I want it, press the shutter button, job done in 10 seconds and I quickly move on before the local chavs catches on.

Football Team At Training
I was the "official" promotional photographer for Folkestone Athletics. These are some of the players in training.
Despiting the very dull and overcast conditions, I was very surprised on how sharp and blur-free these photos came out. I used my Nikon D40 on this occasion and the camera and lens coped very well with the poor lighting.
Passing Through
'Scuse me, just passing through . . .

The Secret Hideout
Yet another HDR shot of an abandoned garage near Hythe. This shot comprised of six identical shots (but all varied exposures) merged into as one "super" image. I do like that First Person Shooter computer games effect HDR seem to be so good at creating.
That "glare" in the middle part of the photo was strong sunlight shining through a gap in the roof. It was that which provided the illumination alone!

Altostratus Undulatus
Usually appears when moist and warm upper air try to shift the cooler and drier surface air but instead the warmer upper air rides over it and this cloud layer just happened to have got caught up in it.
Think of warm water sitting on top of chilled cooking oil and you stir that warm water around (but not the cooking oil below).
This cloud effect is usually very short lived as the warmer upper air finally wins out, or the sun heats up the cooler surface air and the lot breaks down.
