The Orb Strikes Again

All this was done in one take using two LED bike lights (one red and one "cold" blue) attached about a foot apart to a length of string.
The camera was set at 60 seconds, medium ISO and the widest aperture the TZ45 can muster - and the colour is exactly as taken by the camera itself (no photoshop-type alterations).

Concrete Globe

This may sound sad, but I waited months to get the right sort of light for this shot.
This is on the front of a north-facing house, so it only gets the early morning sun for the first hour of the day, then is hidden in the shade for the rest of the day.

Threatening Sky

Dark sky as viewed from the comfort and safety of my hobby room. However it didn't come to anything, just a bit of spitty light rain in blustery wind.

Peach Sky

Observed this blink-and-you'd-miss-it sunset from my hobby room window this evening.

Match Of The Day

A cousin asked me to take some photos of a charity football match, one he played in today.

Supermoon

This is where the moon is nearest to Earth at this time of year so the moon appears that little bit fuller and larger. While there was a fair amount of cloud cover this evening, I saw this peek through a gap and went for the camera.

Bright Afternoon

Finally, after four days of what seemed like endless gloom and dampness, the sun came out to play today. I had to go on a pre-roast dinner bike ride and that's how these two photos came about.
