Folkestone in December
Went for a walkabout on a cool, clear moonlit December's evening armed with my Sony RX100. With the boats, I was only able to get so far inside the harbour before I hit soft gooey silt/mud.

Photo Shoot
Nephew Jack and his "extended" family courtesy of his wife, think they wanted to do a family portrait as a Christmas gift to someone.

A Nice November's Day.
I decided to dust off my long lost photography mojo and fired up the ol' Sony RX100. Well, it was such a nice afternoon and felt positively warm at The Folkestone Harbour Arm when sheltered from the southerly breeze.

Back In Action
Meet my completed side project. A couple of months ago while in the attic, I found my 45 years old Action Man all cold and naked in the bottom of a box. Both his rubber gripping hands crumbled away and one leg was hanging off. Although his moving eagle eyes still works but I kinda felt sorry for him so I made it as a restoration project for myself.
And here he is today, my childhood hero complete with new replacement hands, leg reattached with a rubber band, stubble touched up and the clothes came from eBay (had to wait ages for that).
The things I do to amuse myself.

Fine Day At Folkestone
As this Autumn is turning out to be kind and gentle on us with a good run of warm, dry and bright weather.

Green Green Grass Of Home.
After what has been a long parched Summer, it is good to finally see the colour return to my beloved lawn.

September Sunset
After what has been a miserable drab grey damp murky day, there was a last minute burst of sunset colour. It was very short lived but all the more stark after such a dreary overcast day.

Train Set
Went for a constitutional along the Harbour Arm this morning where there is now a near-complete train set. Just needs a non working small steam engine to round it off.
The Wedding Photos.
This is a big one, but I was my nephew's official wedding photographer a couple of weekends ago and this is the result of a short but quite intense session. Took me days to process each and every individual "keepers" (41 out of 200 odd photos).
