Just Another Day . . .

. . . in the life of me as I popped into a cold but sunny town centre and treated myself to a new rug for the hobby room.
  But as soon as the rug was laid down, Chad very quickly made it his sleeping patch.

Did some more light painting earlier on this evening, but this time taken at the Lower Sandgate Road.

Did some more light orbs and firewooling this evening. However, it wasn't very long before rain had stopped play so this was the result of a very brief session.

I treated myself to a soft light box, but as I was testing it out, Chad walked into it and decided to make it as his official sun lounge. That's where the photo opportunity presented itself.

Bokeh

A bokeh effect is the art of putting the background so out of focus in an artistic way that it blurs into a nebulous type background while the foreground remains in focus. This is achieved by use of an extra wide aperture on the lens thus creating a very narrow depth of field (the point where everything is in focus).

My First Urbex Photograph

I think I've just caught the urbex photography bug! I took this of a loading bay at the town centre shopping centre earlier on today while waiting for an old school friend.

Cinematic Experience

  

       

Got involved with a couple of fellow photographers and spent an evening taking photos of the town's cinema. We had the run of the place for a couple of hours thanks to the manager letting us loose in there with our cameras.
