We experienced the first "proper" frost of the season. And earlier than usual as we don't normally get to see that kind of thing at these parts (the Kent Coast) until mid-November.
I had to wait until my work's 10 am tea break before I could be let loose with the camera. At this point I got very lucky with this isolated patch of frost that had somehow survived the mid-morning warm-up, but it was because it was very heavily shaded.

The First Sting Of Winter.
